Cheese & Tomato Twists

Ingredients: Serves 27

2 sheets puff pastry

• 6 Tbsp The Great British Pantry Classic Tomato Chutney

• 170g mozzarella, drained and shredded

• 50g grated Parmesan cheese

• 1 egg yolk

• 1 tsp water

• ½ tsp dried oregano

• ¼ tsp garlic powder


Preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan/gas 6 and put one of the puff pastry sheets, still on its paper, on a baking sheet.

Spread The Great British Pantry Classic Tomato Chutney over the top, leaving a ½cm border around the edge. Sprinkle evenly with the shredded mozzarella. Top with the other sheet of puff pastry.

In a small bowl, beat together the egg yolk and water. Brush over the top of the puff pastry. Top evenly with the oregano, garlic powder and grated Parmesan cheese.

Cut the long side of the pastry into 9 equal long strips, then the short side twice to cut the strips into thirds to make 27 small sticks. Twist each stick gently while holding the two sheets together (leaving them on the trays and paper). Bake for 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden.
