Get ready for an unforgettable evening of style, sparkles and support at the Norfolk Showground Events Centre on Wednesday 9th and Thursday 10th October in honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 25 models, each at different stages of their breast cancer journey, will light up the runway during the Keeping Abreast ‘More Than Just Fashion’ Shows, proving that they are unstoppable! This inspiring event has been put together by local breast cancer reconstruction charity Keeping Abreast, produced by Production Bureau, and choreographed by Stephen Knights, and will be compered by ITV Anglia presenter Chris Page and Sascha Williams, with charity patron Chris Bailey as the evening’s MC.
Tickets for this charity fashion extravaganza, which will take place at the Norfolk Showground in Norwich from 7.30pm to 10pm, are available to those aged 14 and over and range from £22.50 to £45, with all tickets including a welcome drink. They can be booked online via www.mhtickets.com under ‘More than just Fashion Shows 2024’, via the QR code below or info@keepingabreast.org.uk.
The models will be showing off the latest styles from local retailers John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, Lady B Loves, Scarlet and Elora, while there will also be live entertainment and speeches, as well as a number of stalls, including Cute Little Cupcakes and a photo-booth from Epic Event Hire. Keeping Abreast will be running a merchandise stall on both evenings, as well as a raffle and a silent auction, and there will also be a coffee station from Express Coffee Cars and a bar from Best At Bars.
Keeping Abreast’s business development manager Kerry Kemp said: “We’re really looking forward to this dynamic, vibrant, uplifting event and we’re very grateful to all our sponsors including Insurancewith and Norfolk’s Edge, who will also be serving the canapes to the VIP
guests. The Fashion Shows are usually a sell-out, so if you’d like to support our amazing models, get your tickets soon!”
Keeping Abreast is a peer-to-peer support charity helping those who are considering, facing and going through breast reconstruction following a breast cancer diagnosis or the discovery of a hereditary breast cancer gene.
