Only Murders in the Building – Season 3
Disney+, 8 August
Probably one of the most charming series around, largely in part to the chemistry between the three fantastic leads of Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selana Gomez. The true crime podcast hosts return for another murder mystery. Season two ended with a time jump – the opening night of Oliver’s (Martin Short) new show where one of his performers (played by Paul Rudd) collapsed and died, leaving Charles (Steve Martin) as the prime suspect. Oliver, Charles and Mabel (Selena Gomez) will need dust off their mics as they podcast their way through this fresh mystery while we get flashbacks to the lead up of the murder. Paul Rudd isn’t the only big name joining the cast – Meryl Streep rounds off this impressive group.

Ahsoka
Disney+, 23 August
Warrior. Outcast. Rebel. Jedi. Roasrio Dawson plays Ahsoka Tano, probably the best lesser-known Star Wars character out there.
Ahsoka, the Jedi apprentice of Anakin Skywalker (who became the evil Darth Vader), has appeared in some of the animated TV shows as well as The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. Set following the Empire’s fall in Return of the Jedi, Ahsoka senses an emerging threat. Fearing a rise of Imperial loyalists under the rule of the ruthless Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen), Ahsoka calls upon her friends from the animated series Rebels Hera Syndulla (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) and lovable droid Chopper to take action before evil spreads across the galaxy once more. A highly anticipated series with two episodes dropping at first, with the following six coming weekly.
