This summer, Hideaway Cinema will be heading to Holkham for a bumper five-day festival of film! Theatre on the Coast, Southwold
With us all hoping that the road map to restrictions lifting is a success, local theatre goers have dates ringed on their calendars in anticipation. Kicking things off on 21 July will be a production of Olivier Award winning comedy Cleo, Camping, Emmanuelle and Dick by Terry Johnson and will be directed by Theatre on the Coast favourite Sarah Redmond. Also on the cards from 25 August you can catch a revival of Tomfoolery… not to be missed.

GoGoDiscover

GoGoDiscover is a 10 week trail delivered by Break in partnership with Wild in Art. The T.rex trail will see 20 sculptures including Prideasaurus stomping into Norwich city centre. All sculptures are sponsored by local businesses and uniquely decorated by artists from across the region and beyond. Below is the amazing creation at Chantry Place.
Cut Conversations – Esther Freud

Esther will be on stage talking to journalist and writer Catherine Larner about her work, life and latest book I Couldn’t Love you More, which is an unforgettable novel of mothers and daughters, wives and muses, secrets and outright lies. She is also the author of Hideous Kinky, The Wild, Gaglow and The Sea House. Described by The Times as “a modern literary rarity: a born storyteller”.

With the pandemic putting Queen and Adam Lambert’s epic UK and European tour on pause until 2022, the acclaimed drummer has decided to hit the road for a set of intimate shows. The Queen legend will showcase his distinctive percussive, vocal and song writing talents that have been integral to Queen’s live and recorded experience spanning the past five decades since 1970.

Watatunga
The pioneering reserve set in a stunning 170 acres of Norfolk wetland welcomes the arrival of a beautiful mountain bongo calf. It is particularly exciting that these endangered animals are breeding here in East Anglia. Watatunga is an experience not to be missed, which mixes threatened ungulates and birds with rare pheasants, ducks and the majestic great bustard. Access to the reserve is via guided tour only and must be pre-booked online via their website.

Hippodrome Circus
Runs from July to September
Each summer The Hippodrome Circus in Great Yarmouth stage their legendary Summer Spectacular Circus & Water Show. This is Great Britain’s longest running summer season and features some of the world’s greatest circus acts alongside hilarious hosts Jack Jay and Johnny Mac. It also features the world famous Water Spectacular where the entire ring sinks to reveal a gigantic swimming pool.
