Thursford Christmas Spectacular
9 November-23 December
It’s only October and many of us might not have mentioned the ‘C’ word yet, but Christmas is only round the corner. Like many of the cornerstones of the festive season you need to get booking and ordering to avoid missing out. The Thursford Christmas Spectacular is no different. This ledgendary extravaganza of non-stop singing, dancing, music, humour and variety has now become an East Anglian tradition. It’s a fast moving celebration of the festive season featuring an eclectic mix of both seasonal and year round favourites. With a cast of 130 this is the biggest Christmas show of it’s kind in Europe!
The glittering rhinestone and tinsel-packed variety show will run for seven weeks during the festive season, 9 November to 23 December. Speciality acts such as the marvellous Billy George on the Cyr Wheel, one of the world’s leading acrobatic acts, will be returning this year, (as seen on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent), introduced by Kev Orkian, a fellow BGT finalist, the energetic British-Armenian comedian.
Thursford has definately got you covered for laughter, awe, amazement and a whole lot of festive cheer.

The Mathematics Tour
New album ‘=’ (Equals), 29 October
Tour, 28 April-23 September 2022
The Suffolk-raised recording artist has resonated with fans across the world through his peerless songcraft and versatility. Ed Sheeran is an era-defining artist. Through his fusion of thought-provoking songwriting, universal pop and multi-genre influence, his rich tapestry is not only perfectly suited to his audience but it’s something that transcends generations.
Ed’s latest album is due for release at the end of this month and judging by the sneak peak at the tracks which have been released so far it is destined to be another hit.
Next year will also see more live dates. The +-=÷x TOUR (pronounced The Mathematics Tour) kicks off in Cork on 28 April, before heading to the UK and then on to the European leg. Unfortunately no Suffolk gigs have been announced as yet, but speaking from experience it is worth the trip. I was lucky enough to attend one of the Ipswich nights and Ed doesn’t disappoint with his unique one man sound.
Tickets for the 2022 tour go on sale 25 September at 9am, but be quick they will undoubtedly go fast.
